The average game developer will earn a princely £32,000 this year, according to a new study.
The survey of 298 games industry workers from around the globe, carried out jointly by Develop and MCV, revealed the average salary was £32,203, up slightly from last year’s £31,964.
But taking inflation into account, it seems the industry hasn’t seen a great deal of growth over the past 12 months. Inflation rate calculations using the Consumer Price Index suggest the figure should stand at £32,603.
