Last year we released SHIFT on the Apple iPhone, and it was a huge success, it was, at one point, best selling Puzzle game, and in the top 5 paid apps overall. It was ported by a company called Fishing Cactus, who did a fine job in translating the experience across. Even quite early on in development though, it was mentioned how maybe they should have been porting SHIFT 2 instead, as inclusion of some of the extra features such as rotation of the level and a level making editor added a lot of depth to the game. However, SHIFT 1 was finished and was really brilliant. However, now Fishing Cactus has once again done a great job on the sequel, SHIFT 2, with a huge amount of content available, including many many new levels, revamped graphics and some amazing special features!
When can you expect SHIFT 2 to hit the app store? How about… Now! Yes Apple has approved it and it went live this morning! If you have an iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad, you should definitely check it out here:
Or you can grab it from the appStore from your iPhone/iPod!
Fishing Cactus also included a really awesome feature where you can snap a picture of a secret code image and have the game load extra level content. It’s really impressive and I may be showing my age a little prematurely, but the whole thing feels incredibly futuristic Snap a picture of this image with your iPhone Camera from within the game to see how it flies!
Tell all your friends about it over Christmas, since obviously it would make the best gift ever! If you would like to say a big thank you to Armor over the Holiday season, this is as good a way as any, and won’t break the bank either!
I hope you guys decide to give it a try, and if you do, thankyou very much from me, personally, and I hope you have an extremely Merry Christmas!
